JAVA - MIS
ROLE:
The jobs consists of following activities:
1. Design and architect J2EE based enterprise applications
2. Do Requirement Analysis and write Funcational Specifications
3. Lead High level and Low level design based on top of SAS Business
Intelligence Architecture
4. Advise and assit team members and mentor junior developers
5. Implement test based development process that focuses on delivering
high quality products
6. Provide documentation and technical publications for external and
internal customers
7. Coding in JSP, Servlet, SWING, Core Java APIs within Java as well
as APIs withing SAS BI Platform
Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlet, MVC, Ajax, Java Swing, SAS BI platform,
Eclipse RCP etc.
Excellent skills in designing and developing Java/J2EE based products
Experience with OOAD design patterns in product development.
Excellent programming skills with Core Java, JSP, Servlet, MVC,
Struts, Eclipse Plugin and RCP development
Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience in GUI development – Web-based UI, Ajax, Eclipse RCP
Familiarity with XML, JDBC, RMI, SQL, Databases, Jakarta Ant
Hands on knowledge of using various application server viz. Tomcat,
Apache, Web Logic, Web Sphere, JBoss
Experience in Unit testing methodologies with JUnit as well as
JProbe for memory profiling and any performance tuning/testing tools
Knowledge of Eclipse based development framework is preferred
Familiarity with multiple operating systems
Knowledge of software development processes and Quality Standards
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related
quantitative field with 3 years or more of relevant experience.
